Around here, we tend to support tour business owners. One great way to do that is over a delicious meal, and in the case of Onsen, you can add a spa treatment to the formula. SF Chronicle’s longstanding food critic, Michael Bauer released his annual Top 100 Restaurant list. Among the newcomers this year was the Tenderloin’s spa and restaurant, Onsen, which earned a rave review from Bauer last year. Other spots located in the Tenderloin or a mere stones throw away include The SaratogaLiholiho Yacht Club, August 1 Five, and Corridor. You can explore Baeur’s list on the Top 100 site, which offers searchable functions including filters for neighborhood or cuisine. full list. Eater SF has done a nice job of breaking down the list including trends, additions and substractions from previous years. Check out the Eater SF breakdown here.
